SINOPSIS Encounter :
Drama Korea “Boyfriend” menceritakan tentang seorang pria yang telah bekerja paruh waktu selama bertahun-tahun, ia telah melakukan semua jenis pekerjaan, setelah menabung, ia memutuskan untuk pergi ke luar negeri selama setahun, ketika bepergian ia bertemu dengan seorang wanita yang tampaknya memiliki segalanya dan jatuh cinta padanya.
Cha Soo-Hyun yang diperankan oleh Song Hye-Kyo adalah putri seorang politikus. Setelah lulus kuliah, ia menikahi putra dari keluarga yang menjalankan perusahaan besar. Pernikahannya adalah pernikahan yang menyenangkan bagi ayah politisinya. Setelah memiliki anak, Cha Soo-Hyun terpaksa bercerai. Dia sekarang sudah bercerai.
Kim Ji-Hyeok diperankan oleh Park Bo-Gum adalah pria muda biasa. Dia mencoba mencari pekerjaan tetap dan bekerja paruh waktu untuk sementara. Dia terus gagal dalam pendaratan pekerjaan rutin di perusahaan tempat dia ingin bekerja. Dia memutuskan untuk melakukan perjalanan ke luar negeri. Di sana, dia bertemu Cha Soo-Hyun.
